Our pair of seasonal canelés for this month are “Chocolat Gonomi” and “Caramel Ringo” (lit. caramel apple), are available from today, the 1st of Feb. They may make a nice gift for Valentine’s day. In Japan, on Valentine’s day, chocolates are given by women to their loved ones or to their friends, or even enjoyed by themselves. In France however, flowers or cards are exchanged, or dinner is eaten with that special someone. The way of celebrating depends on the country, but wherever you are it’s all about love.”Chocolat Gonomi” is a rich, chocolate flavored canelé pastry containing five different kinds of berries such as cranberry, black currant, blueberry, raspberry, dried cherry and chocolate copeau on the top.”Caramel Ringo” contains sautéed apples with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
